A GUIDE TO OUR CURRICULUM

For many of our children, creche is their first educational experience. It’s a big milestone, and our priority is to make sure that every child feels safe, cared for, and happy.

Guided by our nurturing EYFS curriculum team, our youngest children take part in a variety of stimulating play-based activities that encourage exploration and discovery. These include messy and sensory play, which are an integral part of our learners’ experience. We encourage them to explore the textures, smells, and appearances of different materials and media. Messy play also encourages our children to build, imagine, experience, investigate, observe, predict, and use their senses.

We carefully support our children with their understanding, listening, speaking, and attention skills, too. Whether your child is a native English-speaker or learning English as an additional language, we’ll create fun, age-appropriate opportunities for them to express themselves and develop their communication. This builds confidence and helps them to make friends and interact with other adults.

Our kindergarten EYFS curriculum is the perfect preparation for the challenges and opportunities of primary school.

Building on the fantastic progress made in creche and through our pre-kindergarten curriculum, our children enjoy immersive play-based experiences that encourage problem-solving, creative thinking, and teamwork. Your child will be guided by our brilliant teachers and teaching assistants, who will ensure they learn in a way and at a pace that’s right for them. Our staff will also encourage them to take the lead and direct their own activities, including making the most of our flexible classrooms and outdoor learning spaces.

Our EYFS curriculum encourages discovery, exploration, and role-play, which nurtures physical growth, communication and language, and personal, social, and emotional skills. This holistic approach ensures our children hit their seven EYFS developmental milestones.
